Kids and Family Travel

Coach Class
Our trains offer many amenities for your comfort and convenience including reclining seats with plenty of legroom, fold-down trays, overhead reading lights and picture windows. Most window seats feature 110-volt outlets for plugging in laptops. There are plenty of restrooms, luggage racks above the seats and even a few spaces for unboxed bicycles.

Business Class
Enjoy perks such as extra-spacious seating, consoles for beverages and periodicals, power outlets for laptops and other devices, and complimentary newspapers and non-alcoholic beverages.

Café Car

Train Hosts
Train Host volunteers are often on board to provide information about stations, attractions and transportation connections. The Host Program is coordinated by TrainRiders Northeast. For more information call 1-207-879-7245 or visit www.trainridersne.org.

Bicycles
A limited number of spaces are available to transport unboxed bicycles. Bicycles are handled at Portland, Wells and Boston stations only. Reservations are required and a service charge applies. Please note that passengers may be required to assist in loading, securing and unloading the bicycle.
